PLA Army formation reviewed in military parade

A Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Army formation was reviewed Tuesday morning in a military parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

On behalf of the country's around one million army soldiers, the formation included soldiers from over 10 arms of services, such as infantry, armored force, artillery, air defense force, special troops, and electronic countermeasure force.

China unveils new anti-ship missiles 

China unveiled YJ-18/18A anti-ship cruise missiles in a National Day military parade in central Beijing Tuesday. 

The long-range submarine-launched and ship-based missiles are domestically designed and built, and they are the mainstay of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy's anti-ship deterrence force.
