-A new business club on Ottawa Street
About 16 or more business elites from Hamilton Chinese Community met first time under a name "All Way Investor Club", 248 Ottawa Str. N Hamilton, December, 12, one Saturday night.
Their business runs from Chinese Restaurant Industry, Hamilton to Piano Stores, Oakville. "We have been waiting for this meeting for almost 10 years" one of the member joining the meeting said.
Membersall share the same ideas of a proactive, creative, and healthy "club"to be their own places for relaxation, information sharing, andbusiness development. Meng, one of organizers had this ideas for years,and he offered the second floor of his business place as the"Club-place".
He welcomes all members to have a good time, "We open weekly on week-ends,"he said. "It's our Meeting room, a Forum for business ideas, a Bar forpeople to socialize, and most of all, a Platform where members can havesome fun, and even a place holding a Ka-ra-ok night, He continuesrevealing his mind of the Club's 2010 activities.
Mr. Liu, the Manager and Co-owner of a River-Rouge restaurantin town, he said "We fully support this, we offer what we can do, goodfood, and good market price for any up-coming activities." HisRestaurant is famously called Man-jiang-hong in Chinese.
Ms. Anne, a younglady, is an experienced Business Consultant from Toronto, she added " This isvery interesting thing to do, but we have to think, now, how to make it happen with the professional management"
Mr. Dingjun,a young man, an International Trading Businessman, "For the long-termdevelopment of the Club, we need to think, from now, how to providegood service to all members"
Mr. Kan, John Artist, and Advertising Specialist before, he offers to design a logo to express the idea and goal of this Club: "I will do it, a Logo, please wait"
Membersat first meeting were all excited, and had a happy night. One new-comerfrom Beijing, Zhang-Jing works for Club too, he missed badly originalBeijing Food, he said, "It's so good, this is crazily delicious!" Helanded in Canada just 6 month ago, and he works as a clerk at an International Moving Company.
Membersare looking positively about Club's role in future. They expressed their good wishes for the "Club"to be more functional in business and recreational in social life.
